Itinerary

Fly to Punta Arenas, Chile. You will need to arrive prior to 9am to meet the team. A representative will meet you and transfer the group to Puerto Natales, a three-hour drive through the Patagonian pampa. You'll have lunch together in Puerto Natales and go over your upcoming adventures. Following lunch, we will continue our journey across ranch country to Torres del Paine National Park. Dinner and night at Hotel las Torres.
Our two-hour journey travels across ranch country. Guanaco, a llama type animal, are frequently seen on the drive to the park. We will stop in Cerro Castillo, the principal site of wool and meat exportation to Europe during the 1960s. Following breakfast, we will begin our trek to the base of the spectacular granite rock spires, Torres del Paine. These renowned spires attract climbers from around the world. We will spend the evening at the rustic Chileno Lodge, situated along the river in the forested Ascencio Valley.
Trek to the Valle del Silencio (Silence Valley), the first of the forgotten valleys. We follow an almost unknown trail that climbs to the source of the Ascencio River. Surrounded by dense rainforest, the trail ascends this vast hidden valley. Here we can admire the sight of the mythical granite spires of Escudo (the Shield), Fortaleza (the Fortress), and the Torres del Paine. Trekking time approximately eight hours. We will return to our Chileno Lodge for dinner and the night.
Today we leave the Ascencio Valley and trek along the vast aqua blue, pristine Nordenskjold lake named after the Swedish geologist whose studies formed an important contribution to world glacial geology. Our trek takes us near the hanging glaciers of Mount Admiral Nieto to the base of Los Cuernos (five hours). Accomodation and dinner will be at either Los Cuernos Lodge overlooking Lake Nordenskjold, or at Refugio. Trekking time approximately eight hours.
We trek up the France Valley. The valley is considered to be the most beautiful valley in the park with hanging glaciers and an amphitheater of granite walls and spires. We will descend back down the valley along the radiant Skottsberg Lake. Our lodge for the evening is situated along the turquoise Lake Pehoe.
